In memory of Bill Pavitt, Esq., who passed away in 2001. Bill was an incredible patent attorney and an absolute gentlemen. He practiced patent law for 48 years and held a position on the IPT staff. His contributions to the philosophies of successful inventing and patenting will be forever with us. Bill supported inventor organizations and was a strong advocate of independent inventors and small companies. He was admitted to the New York, Maryland, California and District of Columbia bars and was the senior partners in the law firm of BEEHLER & PAVITT, Culver City, California. Bill served as the president of the Los Angeles Patent Law Association and as a director of the California State Bar Intellectual Property Section. We will never forget Bill's grateful influence and input into IPT and the tremendous help he had given inventors over the years. Bill truly helped make the world a better place to live.
