BOB DEMATTEIS

Bob is an inventor extraordinaire and the author of From Patent to Profit, The Patent Writer, The Scientific Journal and many other publications. He is a sought out speaker and trainer in the field of inventing and patenting. His programs are taught and used by colleges, universities, SBDCs nationwide, and are endorsed by the US Patent Office.

Bob is one of the original developers of the plastic grocery sack and has over 25 US patents, several foreign patents, and another 10+ pending. He owns most of those patents, all of which have been licensed either before or during the patent pending phase. Sales of his inventions exceed $1 billion to companies such as Sears, Kroger, Walgreens, Walmart, Raleys, Pakrete, Target, and dozens of others.

Bob is founder of From Patent to Profit, Patents in Commerce. He lives in northern California.
